Jubilee Concert 2025 – “Jesus at the Center of It All”
This year’s Jubilee Concert was an unforgettable celebration of Christ’s life, love, and resurrection. Across three powerful performances, students shared the story of Jesus through music, dance, drama, and an original song inspired by Luke 4:18–19, proclaiming the gospel and the mission Christ has entrusted to us.
Over 1,000 people attended, filling our chapel and theater to capacity. The excitement and energy were palpable—even the air conditioning struggled to keep up! Audience members were awestruck, often asking, “Where did we find such great actors and musicians?” Incredibly, these talented performers are our very own students, some trained in musical and theatrical arts since they were children.
Behind the Scenes:
The production required months of preparation, with students attending extra rehearsals after school and on weekends. Costumes and sets were entirely designed and created by Jubilee staff and volunteers, including hand-painted backdrops and custom props. Every detail, from lighting to choreography, was carefully crafted to glorify God and immerse the audience in the story of Christ.

Student Reflections:
Jeremy, who played Jesus, shared:
“When I carried the cross, I saw people crying. It was so emotional because we were giving testimony that Jesus exists, that He resurrected, and that He forgives our sins. When I left the tomb as Jesus resurrected, the joy in the audience was incredible. The Lord used me as an instrument. For me, it was the greatest honor.”
Nelson, portraying Judas, said:
“I wasn’t going to play Judas, but when I was given the role, I felt confronted and identified with him. It affected me deeply. The Lord showed me that Judas didn’t get a chance to repent, but I do. It reminded me that God gives everyone an opportunity to be redeemed.”
Pastor David, who oversees the concert, added:
“Every year, the concert’s theme and script come from a word God places on my heart. This year, seeing people gather, worship, and rejoice, I realize the Lord is answering prayers. Telling the story of Christ is the greatest story ever told—there is nothing more powerful than Jesus.”
Fun Fact: The concert included an original Gospel-inspired song, written by Jubilee staff, that has now become a favorite among the school community. Students not only performed it on stage but also recorded it, creating a lasting reminder of their faith and creativity.
