6th graders Travel to Space
The universe is a marvelous expression of our Creator that we have been able to discover little by little. It’s incredible to ponder and explore space and its galaxies. Ms. Sauceda, our Middle School Science teacher shares, “As a teacher it’s gratifying to me to hear the students comment about articles they have read and documentaries they have watched about the universe.
We decided to do a Space party with our 6th graders this year in Science class. Each student had the responsibility to create a space costume according to what they learned in class. Some came dressed as a planet, a star, a space shuttle, or an astronaut! They each shared in a verbal report in class what their costume represented and why they chose it.
